Established in 2009, the Department of Environmental Science and Technology (EST) at Jashore University of Science and Technology is a hub of innovation, sustainability, and interdisciplinary research. The program approaches environmental science as a holistic discipline, combining physical, chemical, biological sciences, engineering, socio-economic perspectives, and environmental management. With an eight-semester undergraduate program spanning four years, students earn a minimum of 160 credits, gaining deep expertise in environmental processes and technological applications. Offering Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) (Honors), Master of Science (M.S), Master of Philosophy (M.Phil.), and Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) degrees, EST provides a robust academic pathway for students eager to shape the future of environmental science.
