It is my great pleasure to welcome you to the Department of Environmental Science and Technology (EST) at Jashore University of Science and Technology. Since its establishment in 2009, our department has been dedicated to advancing knowledge, fostering innovation, and preparing future leaders to address the pressing environmental challenges of our time.

Guided by our vision to develop the knowledge, talent, and leadership needed for a sustainable future, we integrate cutting-edge research, technological advancements, and policy insights into our teaching and outreach. Our mission is rooted in four pillars: advancing knowledge creation and dissemination, leading sustainable solutions, fostering global collaboration, and championing inclusion and diversity.

The Department offers Bachelor of Science (Honors), Master of Science, and Ph.D. programs in Environmental Science, featuring a rigorous, interdisciplinary curriculum. Supported by state-of-the-art laboratories, these programs equip students with both strong theoretical knowledge and practical skills.

We take pride in our graduates, who contribute meaningfully in government agencies, NGOs, research institutions, and industries, both nationally and internationally. Through interdisciplinary collaboration, community engagement, and ethical practice, we aim to produce professionals who not only understand environmental systems but also design and implement solutions for a healthier planet.
